Not sure if this is the appropriate place for my plea :) We so depend on Quick Text... it's the best add-on ever for our business. But it won't work with the latest version of Thunderbird :( Is anyone going to update it ? We're all defiantly refusing to update Thunderbird in the meantime.... Please Help !!!! Thanks :)
Hey Guys and Coding Gurus, I former was anQuicktext Pro user and also now using the aktual version 1.1. I am using the COUNTER feature. Every year i reseted the counter to zero by alterning the code of the file wzQuicktextVar.js (this.mData['COUNTER'].data++; this.mData['COUNTER'].data = 0; //insertet by spb on 08.01.2018). In the old versions i was able to cope with it setting to zero. In the actual version the code has changed a little bit, I tried and failed, sadly. Is there a possibility?, can you provide me a trick to set the counter to zero. Perhaps it is possible from insite the programm by a special script, or another solution. I would be glad if you could help me spb

I'm not sure if this is the best place to put this, but I created a little XSLT file that will sort your templates if you export them to XML. Afterwards, you can re-import the sorted templates. You're free to use it if you find it useful. https://github.com/RayCulp/XSLT-to-sort-Quicktext-XML/blob/master/README.md

works here like a charm! must have! • specially well done: integration of the clipboard. BTW: would it also be possible to have selected text like [[SELECTED]] included? • small downer: the alt-number shortcuts don't work: all alt- combinations are used by the system (I have a foreign keyboard) ... One should have more options like alt-shift alt-cmd and so on

Probably the most useful add-on I know, but since TB60, the text loses its format when I send the email. It worked perfectly before (I did not change the HTML code). Can you restore this? Thank you in advance.

Quicktext is one of the most used addons for our business. I would be happy to pay for the Pro, but it is missing some must-have features: 1. Drag-n-Drop sort for templates. 2. Simple HTML editor. 3. Spell check. If it had those, I'd gladly pay for it.

There is no pro version anymore, we merged all pro features into the standard version. The quicktext AddOn is open source, if you want those features, hire a professional coder in your area and let him add them for you. Sources: https://github.com/thundernest/quicktext
So glad they made the pro version free. I purchased it years ago, then lost the information to reinstall it. Finally have it back. Love this add-on. Hope they keep maintaining and developing it.

Further to my previous review, v 1.0 is out and has the attachments feature so QuickText is now fully functional and does what it is meant to. 5 stars!

This is the most vital add-on I have ever used. I would be lost without it. THANK YOU! Somewhere however, after the Thunderbird 45.5 update or so, the ability to sort the templates by dragging them was lost. This means that if there are many replies, I am unable to drag into alphabetical order, and a new one is simply added to the end of the list. Please could you fix this, or offer some option to order the templates as they are added. Thank you very much.
