Outlook sends emails with a J instead of the smiley :) The reason is that the two smiley characters are replaced by a snippet of HTML containing a J in the Wingdings font face, which is missing on non-Windows platforms. On Windows the Wingdings J is actually a smiley face. This add-on fixes the most common situations by replacing the offending snippet with a UTF8 smiley face. It also fixes other incorrectly displayed special characters with more standard equivalents.
