It's just what the doctor ordered, but I wish it would update and clear notifications after an e-mail is read. But it works!

Nice addon, now I get all my notifications through the desktop system. However, there is one slight problem: This addon also notifies for email that gets filtered by the Thunderbird junk filter (as in it arrives in the Inbox, gets filtered to Junk by the built-in junk mail control, I still get notifications.) If that was fixed, it would be perfect.

Needs chat notifications too and some options would be nice.

It's really helpful. But it'd be best if I can choose which folder(s) to get notifications for. I receive a lot of emails but I'm only interested in those filtered to a "to-me" folder. For now I'm editing the addon directly, adding an if-condition in isInterestingFolder.

I like this, but I'd love if you could add notifications for the thunderbird chat too.
