Please please update this add-on for TB 60+. It's impossible to have to keep using the default search options, this should be the default code in the main program.
Great tool - unfortunately not compatible with the newest version 60 of thunderbird. Hope we'll soon get an adapted version. Miss this add-on a lot. BR Fab
This is one of the most important Thunderbird-Addons for me. Thankfully, in a threat dealing with dysfunct Tb60-addons, morat has published instructions how to adjust the addon for Thunderbird 60 (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=14812194#p14812194) . This works for me .
But it would be great if psoebr would publish an official version with the adjustments.
The add on provides a much better presentation of the search results than the very poor normal result presentation of TB. However, lately it started to cause unresponsive script errors. "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. Script: chrome://messenger/content/tabmail.xml:1407" and also in other .js files. Nevertheles, if I wait for th eunresponsive script pop-up and press continue, I still get the great list presentation of the search results - it is worth waiting!
If this add-on would only allow me to filter by Folder (location, e.g. Inbox or Sent) it would be ideal. But on my system I get several duplicate emails for every instance because it includes all folders (Inbox, Sent, All Mail, Important, etc.). This makes digging through the results in the list difficult. The default Tbird search allows me to filter by folder, but that search requires three different search steps to get my filtered results in the "list" format. I would love to see the Folder (Location) filter option in this Add On because it would reduce each search from three steps to one.
Must have. However, may have quit working either with Thunderbird 57 and/or Firefox "Quantum" releases. :(
UPDATE: 11/27/17 58.0b2 appears to have alleviated some or all of this problem. The options dialog box still doesn't work. Sorry --- wish I could provide more debug info.
Before I make global search I have disabled message pane (F8). After global search I can see results as a list but message pane is back and first message is marked as read again. Can I contact with you other method? Can you message me mandriospo@gmail.com please?
