There are still people who can not switch to Thunderbird, and who need to use SeaMonkey. Do not forget them please. Its the addons who keep SeaMonkey alive.
Everything is fine with Thunderbird, but if SeaMonkey dies the book is closed. Don't let it die. We need a free Email client.

Perfectly working versions on https://github.com/thsmi/sieve/blob/master/nightly/README.md (scroll down, latest version right now is 0.2.3h and works just perfectly here)

Fortunately it works with TB Version 24! Simply download from here https://github.com/thsmi/sieve/blob/master/nightly/README.md and install the latest nightly... Cheers TS

Great add-on for creating server sides rules. One question though, once I update the rules is there a way to run the rules on a specific folder in Thunderbird? I'm using Dovecot as the backend.

Since version 2.1.0 sieve has become a very stable Thunderbird add-on to program a server-side e-mail filter and sorter. I use it on my Dovecot server. The add-on closely adheres to the complete sieve language specification. Thomas also responds quickly to any support queries. Many thanks from a happy user!

Excellent extension, works wonderfully with Dovecot and now I can easily manage my filters client side, but keep them server side so multiple computers can have Thunderbird and not have to sync filters

Thanks so much, I haven't updated my rules for years, since Squirrelmail stopped being all that useful. I am sure you are familiar with AvelSieve, any chance we'll see that kind of polish on this addon? Perhaps an open source license would help get it there? Any way, THANK YOU for your work, really appreciated!!
EDIT: oh my goodness I just found the extra tools when clicking off the Source button. Nice!!

Funktioniert mit OXASE recht gut, und wird wunderbar ergänzt mit dem "out of office"-Addon aus Frankreich - braucht nur Anpassung bei den Versionsnummern. meine Konstellation: TB10.0.2 sieve 0.1.14 out of office 1.0.2beta (https://adullact.net/frs/download.php/5232/out-of-office_1.0.2beta.xpi) auf W7pro 64

Works beautifully with my dovecot managesieve server, much more convenient than having to login to the server and fiddle with things. The bareness of the editor (lack of syntax highlighting, inability to enter tabs) is kinda disappointing, so I instead use VIM to edit the files. Otherwise, an excellent addon.
