This is an example extension that adds a simple year view to Sunbird/Lightning.
Note that freebusy information is only provided if all calendars are cached. See long description for more info. Also, Calendar 1.0pre with bug 489590 fixed is required.

About this Add-on
The Year view consists of 12 minimonths that also include freebusy information if all calendars are cached or local. This is done to reduce network load, which is particularly important for some remote providers like Google Calendar. This extension causes 12 requests per year viewed which may add up to quite some traffic and might cause Google to ban the Provider
